'Morning all,

I've been lurking around the site reading and learning. First, I would like to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge and expertise.

I just recently moved back to Florida and more out of being bored, I started fishing a nearby by small lake. After catching some small bass and then one just over 3lbs on an old spinning reel I used to use wading for snook, I ended up at BPS buying a Abu Garcia Orra baitcaster and Microguide 7ft rod.

I come to bassresourse everyday hoping to learn something to make me a better bass fisherman. I have some questions, so I'm introducing myself and will follow up with a question about a Diawa reel in the appropiate secion.

Thanks again everyone!

PS

Glenn May, thanks for taking time out to do the videos.

It's funny how you're board, you pick up a fishing road and catch a beauty of a fish. Next thing you know it, you're hooked, I mean....well you know what I mean...Welcome aboard!

This morning I had a half hour to fish before work. 13 casts, landed 6 bass, lost two and two hits that I missed. I was freaking out!

Can't wait to head back out this evening. I'm hoping for something close to a repeat.
