Super User iceintheveins Posted May 14, 2014 Super User Posted May 14, 2014 What are your favorite deep diving cranks with bodies under 3" long that diver 15 feet or deeper? So far the SK 5 XD is my favorite, though it tops out right around 15' on 10 pound fluoro. Quote

That one works, body size is 2.75". Not that a bigger crank won't catch bass around here, especially in off colored water and windy conditions, but our forage is smaller and bass over 6 pounds are uncommon. Quote
Grant Schuen Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 i always liked the rapala dt 15 or 16 in a bluegill or perch pattern. fish it with a stop go retrieve with a occasional jerk. when your lure is under the boat let it sit for like 5 secs.(just in case a bass is following it) Quote
papajoe222 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Norman Deep Little N 2 3/4 inches and 12-15 feet. Comes in a bazillion colors. X2 They even have a silent version. Also Norman Lures® N XS Quote
TorqueConverter Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 My favorite bait for 15 feet is the XPS Deep Diver but it's a big crank. The smallest bodied crank i have in the 15 foot range is the 2 1/4 Mann's 15+. I've also got a 2 1/4 Luhr Jensen Hot Lips that looks like it might get close to 15 feet. Quote
