BassResource,

These are the lures that I have and I've only had success with the yellow twister tails. Can someone assist me on the rest of the lures and ways to fish them? I have quite a few plastics and I see you guys talk about the specific times you use them based on colors so let me know if you want more information on them.

I rarely throw the plastics[except for the NetBaits b/c I use that as a trailer on my jig. I just want to know the best times to use them. I separated the pictures by cranks, top water, my spinnerbait and my plastics.

ALSO, I tend to night fish and am curious what I should use at night[OTHER than the Jitterbug]. I fish rivers and the bottom is big rock.

Man that's a lot to cover, but I'll give you a brief run down.

1st picture;

Frog-best around vegetation or cover. Fish a fairly long, stout rod with 50lb braided line. Fish it with short twitches and pauses in between.

Popper-give it a couple twitches with pauses in between. Most any line will work other than fluoro since it sinks.

Jitterbug- slow, steady retrieve, any rod/reel/line combo will work.

2nd picture-Straight retrieves will work with all those baits. I prefer a 7' MH/M rod with 10-15 pound copolymer line for crankbaits.

3rd-A straight retrieve of varying speeds will catch fish with spinnerbaits. A MH/F rod with 15lb copolymer is what I use for spinnerbaits.

4th-Any rig for soft plastics will work with most any of those baits. A Texas rig is a good starting point, as is a shakyhead.

Take one of those split shot, dropshot hooks and hook one of those Yamamoto Senko in the middle throw it all day everyday until you run out of baits, which probably wont take as long as you think, by then you will have figured some things out.  Seriously though Blue gave you some great advice.
