Hey guys so I have always tied a double improved clinch knot, but I saw a video of a San Diego Jam knot for the first time recently and it looked like it was quite a bit faster to tie. I was wondering how the two knots stacked up against one another? Also is there a version of the San Diego Jam that has the line doubling up in the eye of what it is being tied on?

I've been using the San Diego jam for about a year now. Is a lot quicker to tie and haven't had a break yet (that i didnt force because of a snag.) Not sure about doubling at the eye. Maybe someone else will have an answer on that. Hope this helps.
