hoosierbass07 Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 So I picked up a pack of those Berkley Powerbait Rib Snake soft plastics over the winter. I think I used them once and didn't get any bites but I want to try them again this spring and summer. I'm wondering if anybody out there has these Powerbait Rib Snakes and have had any luck with them. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted May 12, 2014 Super User Posted May 12, 2014 I tried the Berkley Rib Snake because it was similar to Lunker City's Ribster. The Ribster was softer and I caught more bass with it. oe Quote
War Eagle 44 Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I too tried these last year, didn't catch anything or for that matter get a bite. I tried them because an older gentlemen I trust said he had been knocking their lights out flipping them in heavy grass. So that's the only presentation I tried with them, I do however plan to try them more this year. First thing I'll probably try is a shakeyhead, if they don't turn out to be good for that I'll definitely try them flipping again. I like the idea behind these worms so I'm sure all I have to figure out is how best to present them to the fish in my lakes. Hopefully it won't take me to long. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 13, 2014 Global Moderator Posted May 13, 2014 They are a terrific shakyhead bait around here. I have yet to try them on a T rig but I'm sure they'll work well like that as well. Quote
