Has anyone used these? How do they stack up compared to other 'chatterbait' style lures?

My friend is somewhat of a chatterbait expert and his favorite is the d&m custom baits piranha. The original chatterbaits break often and arent worth what they cost.  The chatterbait elites arent much better and at that point pay extra for the D&M. I cant say much about the strike kings ones but if you want a nice chatterbait go with the d&m.

The Pure Poison is just OK. It does better than the straight split ring connection between the blade and jig head knock-offs since the split ring is inside the jig head.

Not a fan of them. I bought a bunch when the were discontinued at a local tackle store and even for half price they weren't worth the money I spent on them.

x2 Plus they come in heavier sizes than any other bladed jig so you can fish them deeper in the water column!

I haven't had any issues with them and they come in some colors that you can't find in any other brand.  I like the Ozark Smoke color.  I generally fish in waters that have a 3 1/2 foot or better secchi disc reading.  I generally use chatter baits interchangeably with spinner baits.  They aren't my favorite.  My current favorite is a Gambler branded bait.  It is tied on a football jig head, has a brush guard, and comes in a kind of bluegill color.  These were discontinued at Rogers a couple of years ago, and I have 2 left.
