icuOklaCity Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Well been hitting the local farm ponds here in the central Oklahoma area lately (whenever the wind hasn't been blow 100 mph) You become a bobber in a tube when the wind is blowing like it is today here. But I have been murdering them lately on a Bill Norman's Fire-Tiger crank-bait and Chartuse and white spinner bait. I went Wed afternoon and caught 20-25 with a solid 2-1/2 lbs avg with 4 over the 4 pound mark. But the biggest fish of the day was a 7-8 lbs channel cat caught on the crank-bait.... Quote
papajoe222 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Here I thought you were going to share about fishing tubes, not from one. People actually still do that???? I thought the switch was to kyaks. Wait, I forgot. That's only up here in yuppie land. I fished out of a tube for years and have never enjoyed the sport as much. Don't tie into any monsters because that thing doesn't have any brakes and they can take you for a ride!! BTW, Welcome to the board. Quote

5 Dollar Fishing Game Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 LOL! Inner tube. Not tube lures. I thought the same. That's a good laugh right there. In any event, yeah, wind is a pain in my kayak too. :-) Quote
