There's not a lot of detail to go into this question, so Im just gonna keep it simple. Is there a certain brand of monofilament line yall prefer that has the lowest memory?

Trilene XL on spinning tackle and XT on bait casting. Also take a good look at P-line cxx. Great strength to diameter.

McCoy...strong and very low memory. It's on all of mine except for one braid setup.

If I ever use mono again it will be Big Game.

Never had a problem of any kind with it, including memory.

I'm a long ways from having tried every mono out there.  Personally I find Big Game to have more memory than Trilene XL, Sunline Super Natural or Sufix Elite.  However, it does well after making a few casts to stretch it and get it wet.  I use Big Game in 8# and 12#.  I'd have to say the Elite is currently my favorite of the softer monos, but want to try McCoy and a couple others.

I'm using Red Cast on a couple reels (got it at a good discount), and far as I remember, it hasn't had much memory after setting awhile either.

Original Stren. Has a bit more memory than Trilene XL but it is a lot more durable. Some KVD L and L makes it a great limp mono.

Suffix Elite is good too.

Big game on BCs, XL on spinning, it ain't broke, so I ain't fixing it. Every so often I try the latest "in" line, and always go back.

Whatever you decide to use please treat yourself to some KVD line and lure conditioner, it is a big help with line memory. Seriously, it's amazing.
