EastTexasBassin Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Strike King KVD swim jig w/ rage craw/lobster trailer. Close 2nd would be the ragetail baby thumper. I've had some great days this year going back and forth between those two. Quote

Vinny Chase Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 For pure excitement, there's no beating a Sammy or a DD22 For numbers, Trick and finesse worm Quote

Super User 00 mod Posted March 18, 2011 Super User Posted March 18, 2011 If I was trying to feed my family, the one lure would without a doubt be a 1/8 oz Roadrunner white with a white curly tail on it! So far this year alone, I have caught bass, bream, crappie, a drum, and a buffalo on it! Can't beat that for variety and numbers of fish you could eat! Now if we were talking about you get one bait to bass fish with the rest of my life??? Would have to be a Smithwick devils horse! How exciting would it be, for every fish you caught the rest of your life to be top-water!!!!!!! Quote
Missouribassman95 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Storm Wildeye Swimshad. I can always seem to catch something with it! Quote
JaxBasser Posted March 19, 2011 Posted March 19, 2011 If it was just to feed my family I'd go with a small in-line spinner. It will catch bass, bluegill, crappie, and just about anything else in the water, fresh or salt. Quote
J_Pearson Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 If it was just to feed my family I'd go with a small in-line spinner. It will catch bass, bluegill, crappie, and just about anything else in the water, fresh or salt. Amen! Tiny little Rooster Tail Spinner used to catch me a ton of little bass and bluegill, and I'm sure it still would! My other go-to option would be a wacky-rigged 4in. straight worm I pour. JP Quote
