Congrats.

I'd love to break 8 here . . . .

You may as well hang up your gear for a while because it don't get much better.  Kinda like hitting the bullseye at 300 with your first three shots.......Pack it up and head home to do the yardwork, you likely wouldn't do it again in a hundred outings, so why waste ammo?

Nice fish and considering your geographical area, definately bragging material.  :jaw-drop:

Beast fish Speed congrats!! I recently broke the 8# mark too 2 weeks ago but that's in FL a PA 8, in your case almost 9, is WAY more impressive

Congrats again on the new PB

Pennsylvania 8+ pounder.... I dream of someday getting one. That is awesome.

Any LM north of the Ohio river over 3 or 4 pounds is simply awesome.  When I lived up north, I always said there are big fish to be caught, you just gotta find 'em.

That one is a beaut!  The only problem I've ever had catching a PB or near PB is, I expect to catch one on every cast for about a week.

Really nice work!

LOL, ain't gonna lie, I thought it might be a little bigger. I'm just happy to have broken 8 finally. Kinda glad it pushed so far past 8 too. Gives me even more motivation to up it.

I've been on a pretty good run the last few years, hooking and landing a PB in each. I know there are fish in a couple places I fish that are bigger but now I gotta find them.
