So after reading a thread here at BR and talkn to a couple of local fishermen last week, going on about swimbaits, naturally I start looking into it...whoo...I immediately come to the conclusion I need a swimbait rig..haha. Guys are catching serious weight on these things, well serious weight for up here in the Northeast anyway. So I'm not sure if I want to go out and get something that's going to be able to throw 8oz+ or start with say something in the 3-5oz range. Thoughts and suggestions please?

Okuma Guide Select with a 300 Cardiff and you're good to go without breaking the bank and you can fish any bait you'll need in your area.

Hahaha...

That's exactly what I was looking at.

Thinking 40lb braid... Thoughts on this?
