I caught a nearly 3 pounder right on the bank/rocks= (heat) in early spring last year.

Bait was a storm paddle tail bluegill!

They have a bigmouth too!

Catch them on crankbaits all the time.... Really

A nice fish you got there! Congratulations !

Was that a solo or one of many?

Usually fish for bass but when I catch a crappie, I move to my ultralight and start chuckin grubs cause when u catch one, theres sure to be many many others.

That was just one of one. He hit a KVD Slashbait so I was kind of surprised when I pulled him up, seems like that'd be too big for him. Anyway I can't complain; two more species and I've caught every species in the pond.
