Apparently I missed the memo. Bucket hats supposedly went out of style in the 90s!?!

I've been rocking those hats for the past 25 years.no one ever told me that they were no longer in style. :(

Oh well as the proverbial all fashion anti Christ maybe it is for the best. I wear white after labor day and black before. I wear sleeveless clothing any and every chance I get. I also rock out the straight up 70s and 80s style jean shorts that are cut like daisy dukes. I wear jean shorts that come down to my ankles. I also mix black and pink clothes as an ode to the frat boys, that wish they could be as gnarly dog as me.

Hopefully bucket hats don't come in style anytime soon. I would hate to be considered trendy.

Dude, please tell me you are joking and don't actually wear that?

How many insane clown posse t-shirts do you own?  :laugh5:

I have a couple of bucket hats, you know, like the one Gomer Pyle wore when he sang the "United States Marines" song. The handle tucks neatly under your chin.

No ICP shirts. I'm not what you would call a Juggalo. I'm a casual listener to the violent songs they put out. I do have some old Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Cannibal Corpse, and other metal shirts. I wear to infuriate the masses of baptist around these parts.

What's wrong with rocking a variety of clothes? Its not like I'm wearing skinny jeans or something like that, (my legs are too big and the crotch would probably be wayyy to tight). I also don't wear shorty shorts, (some things men should never wear.). I try to dress appropriately for where I'm going. Thuggish clothes for the ghetto, camo for hunting and the woods, gym shorts for most anywhere that isn't work or related to the other two. When I go up north I prefer overalls with no shirt and a cowboy hat. All the above ensembles can and will be decked out with combat boots. Which tend to go gloriously with most any type of clothing. Bucket hats though? I wear religiously. Same with bonnie hats.

nobody said anything to you probably because given your descriptions of everything else what difference does wearing a hat make other than provide a little more color to the story they tell their friends......you should have seen this guy, he was wearing.......

The only problem I have with bucket hats is getting them large enough to fit.  I do like them because they do offer some shade all around but I definitely prefer a longer billed ball cap that the underside of the bill is dark colored to cut down on reflection.  I typically have to have them almost all the way open to fit.

I have that same problem. Thats why most of mine are XL Under Armor hats.

Compared to what other people wear around here. I'm quite dapper in my apparel. Unless I go straight up old school with a top hat or boller(so) hat. Then I refer to it as being dressed in the "height of fashion". A little Clockwork Orange reference for ya.

I fish alot using bucket hats , works great with my baclave , and glasses. However I have caused a few episodes with the cops . I was gearing up to fish behind a outlet in florida on vacation while the ole lady was inside shopping . Somebody called the cops thought I. Was about to rob the place. Little awkward turning around and finding new friends.

Sight unseen, I would have all be guaranteed this is your everyday ensemble before you told me.

It doesn't appear that you would ever be considered trendy based on your present wardrobe description.  Perhaps a membership in Hautelook may bring you into the 21 st century.

I gotta admit, every time is see you in one of those 'People of WalMart' posts, I think to myself  ' that guy is either very self confident, or he gets his clothes from Goodwill.  BTW, from those pics I gotta ask why the crotch would be too tight if you attempted to wear skinny jeans??? :laugh5:

Nah, Raider is too articulate for Early...though there are some eerie similarities.
