bnick Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I was running a size 27 starting battery on my boat last year but noticed that towards the end of the day, towards the end of the year, that I almost didn't have enough power to start the engine. With running the finders and livewell all day seems to be drawing to much power. Should I just run a size 29 to take care of this issue? Quote
bamabass78 Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Go with the Sears Diehard group 31 AGM. This will take care of your problems. I have had the same trouble you have for the past couple of years. Bought this battery and took care of all my problems. I run a Lowrance HDS 10 and an HDS 8 with structure scan and livewells all day. Finally I can enjoy fishing a tournament and not worry about whether or not my boat is going to crank at the end of the day. 1 Quote

I run two HDS 8's, power pole + Livewells and never run out of battery life. Quote
