What is a good choice for surface lures when the water is calm and it is dark and how do you fish them.

Black buzzbait would work well also. Just a standard retrieve, nothing special.

Both a black jitterbug, and buzzbait  are excellant choices.  I personnelly like the black jointed jitterbug.   You can make alot of noise and surface ripples and then let it sit.  I dont night fish much but I love this lure.
