Super User bigbill Posted May 5, 2014 Super User Posted May 5, 2014 Whats your hottest lure? What's the best presentation that makes it produce? Mine is Joe's Fly 1/4oz bass size in firetiger apache. A slow reel presentation just fast enough to keep the blade spinning constantly making it look like an easy meal. With a shot of YUM Shad. The rest of my ritual of lures I throw all produce bass but the Joe's fly with the Colorado blade is a tad hotter. Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted May 5, 2014 Super User Posted May 5, 2014 Last week it was a jig and craw. I was dead sticking it, and then dragging it a little. Quote

Super User rippin-lips Posted May 5, 2014 Super User Posted May 5, 2014 90% of my fish this year have been a on Tx rig rage craw with 3/16 or 1/4 tungsten weight. Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted May 5, 2014 Super User Posted May 5, 2014 This year I've only been out 3 times and one day it was a jerkbait, one day is was a hair jig, and one day was a shaky head but we have had a cold and unstable spring so far. The hottest bait for me the last 2 seasons has been a 1/4oz swim jig, spinnerbaits are my favorite bait but the swim jig has been the absolute best producer. Quote
Salamander12 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Speed trap in crystal crawdad or any red color and drop shot with a zoom trick worm. Quote
