tnbassfisher Posted December 11, 2011 Author Posted December 11, 2011 I can never find those big bags of Power Worms in Motor Oil. I go through a ton of those throughout the year. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 They are the bomb, and they are more than just a color to me. A fellow fisherman gave me one of them along with a 3/0 hook and 1/16oz sinker when I first started fishing(I was using a zoom trick worm with a 1/0 hook and a 1/2oz sinker in 2 feet of water haha). Anyways, I caught about 10 fish on that one worm he gave me, I have no idea how it lasted that long but it did. And then I had a fish break it off. The very next day, I had my dad drive me to walmart to get some more. Kind of a sentimental thing. And that god awful, smell, always makes me remember that day Quote
tnbassfisher Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 I can always find big bags of the other colors at BPS, but I've never been able to find them in Motor Oil. Quote
A-Rob Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 hmmmm, ok. I went to the garage to take pictures and realized my tacckle is a mess. That usually means Ive been fishing. NICE!!! Quote

Scorcher214 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 What kind of backpack is that BadBASS88? I got the BPS stalker backpack, and it has pretty much all my tackle. But I dont really need all my tackle when bank fishing. I also have a satchel that holds 2 360 boxes and 1 350 box. But I really would like to have the ability to put one more box in there or more room for soft plastics. Quote

SkilletSizeBass. Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 These are my best type post, looking at everybodys pictures of their tackle. . I need to take more pics, or update mine, some I had just copied and pasted pics when I bought them. These are some in my box. http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/New%20lures%20for%202011/?albumview=slideshow And these below are some I hope to pick up this year, probably not all of them. http://s689.photobucket.com/albums/vv251/SnappinTurtle_photos/Bait%20monkey%20chewing%20my%20ear/?albumview=slideshow Quote
Fat-G Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Lots of sweet collections here. I "downsized" recently from about 35 lbs. of gear per trip to just one lure, and that lure is the only one I fish. Or own, for that matter. I have one rod/reel setup as well now. I don't need thousands of dollars worth of gear. I'm 18, fish from the bank, and catch most of my big fish on my one lure. 1 Quote

It's a FieldLine pro series ( http://www.fieldline.com/main/backpacks/deluxe-tactical-internal-frame-day-12-pack/1/4/8 ) I bank fish 100% of the time and carry a ton of gear with me ( ex reels and what not ) How do you like that stalker? been looking at them. flippin and pitchin Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Those color coded rubber bands are a nice touch. Yellow: Brand new hook Blue: Recently sharpened hook Red: Needs replaced Green: Mixed hook sizes I do the exact same thing. Quote
tnbassfisher Posted December 29, 2011 Author Posted December 29, 2011 I do the same thing as you with writing the size on the jig box. I would never be able to remember the weight of each if I didn't. P.S. Want to talk about OCD? I just about wouldn't be able to stand the fact that to 4" Senkos come after the 5" Senkos on your shelf. Quote

Yellow: Brand new hook Blue: Recently sharpened hook Red: Needs replaced Green: Mixed hook sizes I do the exact same thing. The colors actually don't mean anything to me actually. I just wrap them like that so I can put a bunch of cranks in the same slot and not have them tangle with each other. A tip I learned from In-Fisherman, and it's worked out great so far. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted December 30, 2011 Super User Posted December 30, 2011 bassh8er,Awesome organization! Now i can show the wife I ain't that bad. I'm in the process of cleaning the spare bedroom that has my fishing tackle in. might try to post some pictures once done this weekend. Doesn't come nearly as cool as some of the ones posted. Quote
lmoore Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 This thread is just awesome. I had 2 tackle boxes and 5 of my nicest rods grow legs last fall, so I'm doing some restocking. I should have some photos to contribute here before too long. In the meantime, cabin fever held off for just a bit longer with this thread. Quote
