Cyklops99 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 So, as with all times are right and 50+ hours of work doesn't pay the bills like it used to. I don't wanna sit at home all spring/ summer either. I have lakes within 3 hours of me, some within 1.5 hours of me. But Joachim creek (near herky, MO) is just down the road.. Driving an f250 1.5 hours one way can get a bit expensive... Thinking about simply fishing the creek, but never really fished it... Would u fish the creek? Or just hit the rivers when u can... I got a 15' basstracker w/ a 40 hp mercury on back. Anyone in the area ever fish Joachim for bass....either smallmouth or largemouth is fine. Quote
sparky241 Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 Heck, fish it, you never know it may be a honey hole. Just make sure its OK For you to fish it Quote
Super User Fishes in trees Posted May 5, 2014 Super User Posted May 5, 2014 Your first question is what does the ramp in this creek look like. Can you get in? More importantly, can you get out? Quote
Missourifishin Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I don't know what the boat ramp situation is there. But the results of a google search I just did indicate that there may be a decent population of smallmouth in there. So I say go for it! It's worth a shot, or two. Quote
