I'm surprised nobody has ever used the name "B Js" (bass jigs).

Your companies tag would be:

"Ain't a fish in the lake that can resist our B J's"

I won the internet tonight.

So, you don't think this guy can produce jigs that are just as good, if not better, than the ones you named?

A catchy product name is the last thing he needs to establish, it's a competitive business.

I always thought a bait company called "Irish" would be cool, as in "the luck of the Irish" and "Irish jigs" would also fit really well too.

If you use that I want some jigs!

A good catchy name does help with product promotion, also a name that instills confidence that the customer is getting a quality product that will produce.

How about..............Ultimate Bass Jigs

I make my own jigs, they catch fish as well as any I've bought.

Good luck on the company don’t let anyone try to discourage you!

When thinking about a name think about what type of personality you want your company to have. Do you want it to be fun? Edgy? Classic? Futuristic? Before you pick a name first write a creative brief establishing how you want your company and product to be viewed. That will help you find the right name instead of just picking random names from a hat.

Hater, not at all. Going into the lure making business or any business based on offering a product without any knowledge of what your competition has is naive. If you choose a lure name already taken without researching trade names and competitor product names may get you lawsuits.

Designing a unique jig design and proving it's bass catching qualities may give you a small piece of the jig business. The young man lives in AZ near Havasu and can offer jigs to local tackle shops if they are good, they may sell by simply using his first or last name as a product name.
