i cant see casting a frog on a 7'6 up rod and I am 6'2 lol , but I hardly have vegetation, I have really never had to drag a frog, always walk or spit

I typically dont walk frogs, I use a tip up presentation, especially in the heavy cover... so the longer rods do a nice job of casting a long way, but also having a more favorable line angle to get the fish up out of the slop and in the boat... if i fish them in open water, i use a 7'MH/F but that is not very often...
