Im in the market for a new frog rod and it got me wondering, what's your best/favorite frog rod you've ever owned?

I purchased a G Loomis NRX 916 UBR and tested it out with some frogs this Fall. That rod has a ton of potential (and versatility). I will give it a true work out this Summer in slop and pad fields, but it definitely will have the power to hoist fish out of heavy slop.

i just picked up a cabelas tournament zx frog rod. havent used a frog with it yet but love the feel of the rod and i think itll perform great.

I got the same one. Am debating if it's too heavy for slop fishing here. I normally has a medium or medium heavy and haven't had a problem yet. Was considering exchanging it for a MH.

I like my Mojo Bass 7 foot hvy/fast. I can walk a frog easily, and i can skip a frog way back under trees and docks. Great backbone too. Great rod for 110$.

I used an older Berkley Lightning Rod last year. It was a 6'6" MH.  I caught a BUNCH of fish on that reel.  I bought a 7' MH Mojo Bass this year.  It is lighter and I think it will be a darn good rod for frogs.

I use the Falcon Cara Jason Christie signature model, fits the way I fish frogs very well.

I just use a Powell Diesel 734. 7'2 MH/XF. It does the job well for around 60 bucks, which is great, because a frog is on it 24/7.

I like the pinnacle perfecta 7'3" MH-F rod. 3/8 - 1 1/4oz weights

I pretty much have hated every rod I ever owned for frogging that the mfg. labeled as a "Frog" rod. My favorites have been just good old fashioned 7' MH/F rods, for GP frog work, and then using a flipping stick for dragging them across mats.

I own a half dozen frog rods from loomis to falcon - my day to day favorite is the daiwa light and tough frog rod - not sure they're still on the market. Fished frogs 250-300 days a year for 5 yrs. the Daiwa was the all around best for me.

i cant see casting a frog on a 7'6 up rod and I am 6'2 lol , but I hardly have vegetation, I have really never had to drag a frog, always walk or spit

Powell Endurance 725. Its a freakin broom stick with a super soft tip. I used it last week for some 3/4 and 1oz wake baits and it did fine with that too! ,
