bass2bluegill Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 hey guys just wanted to see what you guys were throwing! ive been throwing a few different things but mostly the rebel teeny pop-r, zara puppy, zara spook, square bill cranks and various soft plasics like roboworms, zoom 4 inch finnese worms and brush hogs. anyway give me some feedback!! tight lines Quote
David D. Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Topwater frogs are getting fun with the emergence of more vegetation. I'm also having good luck with jerk baits, jigs, and T-rigged creature baits that I run across beds. Of course, Senkos and other stick baits always catch fish Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted April 29, 2014 Super User Posted April 29, 2014 Mid Atlantic, and North East, I'm doing the spinnerbait/squarebill dance right now, I'll be mixing in a little swimjig/T-rig real soon... Quote
Mccallister25 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 My biggest producers so far have been jigs and t-rigs. Also just recently a shakey head. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted April 29, 2014 Super User Posted April 29, 2014 Lipless cranks and t-rigged brush hogs. Quote
Lip 'em! Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 The pop-r bite is on here in KY! Typically i dont bring out the spooks till later after the spawn is over. Recently little john square bills, jerkbaits, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and shakey heads have been the ticket. Fish are still being caught on the A-rig though too! Never go fishing without a jig tied on too! Quote
RipSomeLips Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Spinnerbaits slow rolled. I have never been a fan of spinnerbaits but this spring I committed to using them and I have been doing very well with them. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted April 29, 2014 Super User Posted April 29, 2014 Everything. There is nothing they won't bite right now, there is just some stuff they bite better. Quote
dday07 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Here in Socal...Fat Ikas, dropshotting robo's, and topwater just getting going with buzzbaits and spooks Quote
Volboy Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 We're in the middle of the spawn here in TN, so it's all about soft plastics. Some fish being caught on topwater, chatterbaits, and crankbaits. Quote
Super User tcbass Posted April 29, 2014 Super User Posted April 29, 2014 I need to expand my fishing skills, but I love Ragetail Toads and Senko's all year long. I've had some success with Zara Spooks, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and a swim and jig. I'd like to catch more on the others and become more versatile. 1 Quote
Crankinstein Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 crankbaits and t-rig lizards have been working for me recently. I'm hoping to get a topwater frog bite going soon and also will probably start flipping some beaver style creature baits with the spawn heating up here in NC. Quote
bassguytom Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Water still in the 50's here crawfish colored lipless cranks and chatterbaits are what's working for us right now. Quote
Creekcrappie Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 T and c rigged lizards, flukes, shaky heads, and shallow cranks. Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 30, 2014 Super User Posted April 30, 2014 Same as the rest of the year, just different locations! Quote
