I have been considering buying the Plano 4880 KVD tackle bag. What are people who own this bags opinion of them? The one thing I'm wary of is how heavy it might become since its a large bag. I haven't seen a lot of reviews on these so I'm curious if it would be a good purchase or not.

If it has KVD on the label then as a fisherman you are morally obligated to buy three.

We have these at my store. I don't really think they are that large, so I cant imagine it would get that heavy. I'm not sure exactly how much they hold though, after looking at the pricetag, I'd pick something else. I know there are better options out there for that kind of money.

I'm currently using a backpack with three 3701 containers, a 3700 container, three little 3500's, a spinnerbait box, and a Falcon plastics bag. Its not lite, but its not too heavy for me to carry around on my back all day shore fishing. But I'm a big guy, so not sure if I qualify to give you my opinion on heavy  :)

I bought mine from TW during the Black Friday sale and absolutely love it (they still have them on sale). It holds a ton of gear, but it will only be as heavy as you let it. Mine is loaded down but it is easy to carry with the shoulder strap. Perfect bag if you don't want to carry 2-3 tackleboxes with you.

That's what I'd like to accomplish. Now I have a tackle box, a smaller tackle bag/cooler and three of the speedbags for plastics. It would be nice to consolidate it into one bag.

I ordered mine in Sexy Shad.

Don't forget the matching shoes for each bag! :)

Accessorize!  :)

You also have to buy and use the bag, but keep three bags of other manufactures filled with baits but never ever let anyone see them and never admit to using them.

I just picked up the front loading XPS bag from bps.

It's not too wide, not too long, but it is TALL.

It holds everything I have which I need as a co angler which makes it VERY heavy.

But I do like all the features tho
