Hey all, I'm new to this forum, but not to fishing. I grew up on a private lake and a paddle boat the my parents bought me when I about 10. Have been fishing for about every type of fish I can manage to get to bite from carp to perch to bass. I have a 5 year old son that gets just as excited as I do when we get to go fishing now, he is turning into quite the little angler. I have always been a spinning rod/reel fisherman until I bought my first baitcaster this year and I absolutely love it. After watching a few videos I finally can get the occasional backlash out without a problem! I can't believe how smooth the retrieve is compared to a spinning reel. Enough about me for a while, I hope to meet some of you on the water someday soon!
