Using Cxx now. Have it on my 6-6 rod for jerkbait and topwater. I like fluorocarbon but it sinks a suspending jerk and topwater.

I to have the cxx spooled on a few reels and I like it a lot. Stuff is super strong and kvd l&l goes a long way to fix the stiffness issue

Copoly lines are fine to use. Cheaper than pure fluorocarbon, and quite strong.

P-Line floroclear, others are fluoro-coated, while Yo-Zuri Hybrid are strands of copoly bonded with fluoro.

I prefer P-Line Floroclear over YZH slightly, but both are fine lines. I also use pure FC lines. And all are used as leader material attached to braided mainline.

Only listing those two brands primarily because they are what I rely on most of the time. Tried other copoly lines, just like those the best. That's my experience, yours may differ.

Love it especially on spinning reels. Silver Thread is the absolute best. Silver Thread AN40 was developed with the stealth approach in mind. Designed with an incredibly small diameter, this line can really cover the distance. The AN40 formula is very limp and supple. If you require long casts and low underwater visibility to get close to the fish, look no further than AN40.

This is my favorite but I also use Excalibur occasionally.

I been using Excalibur silver thread copolymer line since I been serious about bass fishing. The original silver thread is very limp and easy to tie plus its very strong. I been hooked on copolymer line ever since. I can do quicker hook sets because of the less stretch. The yo-zuri hybrid copolymer is good too. I find the vicious copolymer a tad stiffer like Excalibur silver an40 but both are very tough when fishing around rocks. I have to wet my knots using vicious copolymer line to tighten them.

Years ago Excalibur silver thread had the results of there testing posted against other brands of lines. Silver thread was ahead on the bending cycle test and the abrasion tests. That's why I switched to Excalibur silver thread. I was losing too many bass using rubber band cheap mono.

I use Excalibur silver thread original, AN 40 and super silver thread. Cabelas brand had offered a copolymer line that felt exactly like silver thread too. I used that because it was cheaper and just as good as silver thread. But of course it's discontinued.

I haven't found another brand of fishing line to exactly match Excalibur silver thread line yet. Right now I'm full circle back to using silver thread line.

I found out I can fish with any brand of rod, any brand of reel if it's decent, but I have to have the best quality line my money can buy. Our fishing line is the weakest link in fishing so why not buy the best quality line we can.

I got the pline flouroclear and I couldn't be happier with it. It's Very strong and hard to break 12lb test when it gets snagged. For 600 yards at $12 a spool it's a bargain compared to the price of fluorocarbon.

I've used both P line floroclear and Silver thread, no complaints with either.  At present I have 14# silver thread on 1 spinning outfit, most fish caught are above 20#.  Both strength and knot quality is good, but the key is always the drag.  I make a point of always trolling my line out after my outing.

I have been using Yo-zuri hybrid for 2 years now and I really like it. I also just started trying Izorline and am really starting to prefer that. I didn't have the greatest success with P-line, but I also didn't know about KVD line conditioner.

Yozuri, has my vote in this dept. Their lines are strong and the $$ point is a plus. Treat it with KVD line conditioner often and it will preserve for a while.

Been using Yo-Zuri for years and love it. Never had and problems with it, super strong very manageable. I live live by if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I use Izorline Platinum now instead of Yo-Zuri. I like it better and it costs less then half the price. It is top notch and I never used and conditioner on it except when i first spool the reel.

I think the copolymer fishing line is the way to go. I use mostly copolymer unless I'm using red Cajun leaders.

For the record I'm a braid man, however there is a need for me to use mono or copoly at times.  I really don't favor copoly over mono or vice versa.  I'm comfortable with almost any brand, just have not had what I'd call a bad experience.

I have used Yo-Zuri Hybrid for about 9 or 10 years now, and never had any problems with it.

I've been using p line and this thread made me curious. So I just ordered some yo zuri hybrid and Silver thread Excalibur. Can't wait to try them out
