bassmanohio Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 thanks the orange on the bottom and the chartreuse on the top I mixed on my own. Im trying to learn how to make almost everything I need. Mixing paint and things so this was really my first stab at it hopefully it gets better. Quote
Jim Farmer Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 They look great. I'd throw them. That's a good combination of successful colors. Great work. Quote
BobP Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I make my own baits, so no, I wouldn't buy them. But yes, I'd fish them if the colors suited the water I'm fishing. One thing for sure, bass are not art critics but fishermen are. So you can judge for yourself whether your paint jobs will catch bass (use) or might also catch fishermen (sale). You'd like it to do both but for me, the bass are critical while the fishermen are just 'nice to have' since I don't sell mine. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted April 27, 2014 Super User Posted April 27, 2014 Orange bottom cranks are hotter. The chartreuse, yellow great combination for stained water or low light conditions. Now you need to make the rest of the colors. Citrus Chartreuse blues Hot chartreuse Baby bass Green craw Red craw Dark green craw Silver shad Brown craw Violet Bone Yellow Call me and I'll wet them for you. Hot chartreuse is hotter at dusk hotter than haiti Quote
