I went for it and bought the Tournament Pro! And I am like a kid in a candy store! I will put it to the test next week down on Table Rock. And the price was crazy at $149! :respect-059:  :eyebrows:  :dazed-7:

That's a great price! I own five of them. They're the best performers for the money, IMHO. Congrats!

Would love to know this to!

I also have one an love it...I haven't fished other reels but just from handling just about everything else in stores which I'm well aware that doesn't really tell you a lot but I'm confident in saying it's one of the better reels out there regardless of price...enjoy!

Got one last week from Ron at Valley. It is a very nice reel but very touchy to adjustments. Any one else have a hard time getting one dialed in? Never had issues with my BB1 or PQs.

Try keeping the centrifugal brakes with 2 on and adjust the magnetic and spool tension after that.

Works just fine for me

Oh and to the op. Where's this 149 steal

I got rid of my Lew's reels because of this.. I am not a fan of MSB/dual brakes.

I normal have 0-2 Centrifugal brakes on my other reels and then adjust the mags/tension knobs with no issues. This TP I have all four centrifugal brakes on plus mags set to 4-5 then the tension knob is extremely touchy. I like the reel overall but dialing it in is ticking me off.
