Only own a 2 piece fly rod.

Would never even consider using a 2-piece.

The only 2 piece I own stays in my card for those "Emergency Bassin' moments".  Otherwise 1 piece for sure!

Note:  I have two 3-piece rods for when I travel.

All of my rods are 1pc with the exception of the LONG steelhead sticks. That being said, the 2pc rods of today equal their 1pc counterparts in performance. I have no problem owning one and actually, will be replacing one of my 1pc with the same length/action/power in a 2pc, just for portability.

I own mostly 1 piece, and have two 2 piece rods. I feel better using one piece rods because I always think I'm going to cast out half my rod with a 2 piece, but honestly I think it's all in my head and there's little if any performance difference between the two.

I used to fit 7'6" rods in my Charger as well. Granted, it was a pretty big car, but I'd carry 8-10 rods in it no problem.
