Blue Streak Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I see *** has these available now. Strange looking lure, but an interesting concept. If it does everything the write up says it can do it is quite an engineering accomplishment. To me it looks like a crankbait/swimbait. Quote
Scorcher214 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Definitely an odd looking thing, I think i will be ordering one on my next order though. Quote
SGT Rico Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 If it does what it says, its going to be one heck of a bait!! Quote
Vinny Chase Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 This is going to be a game changer...looks amazing. Quote
Mattlures Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Whether or not its a hit or a flop, it looks interesting enough to give it a try. Some baits you just know are going to be good or bad, but this one I dont know. I would guess its going to be good though. I think I will try one. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted March 7, 2011 Super User Posted March 7, 2011 I think "game changer" is a little drastic, but in terms of it being a pretty good top water? I'd say there is better than average chance that it will be. Quote
SDoolittle Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 "Introducing the steerable lure, the Think Tank Lures Triggerfish features Think Tank's revolutionary Z-Trieve steering technology that allows you to fish in ways and places you never thought possible. Go under that tree - into that cove - weave through those pads - the Think Tank Lures Triggerfish responds to your every command, giving you limitless possibilities with every cast." Tackle Warehouse It reminds me of one of those lures that outfishes live bait three to one and may be banned from tournaments in certain states. Is NGC sports selling this thing? Quote
Super User Big Bait Fishing Posted March 7, 2011 Super User Posted March 7, 2011 her is the video for the lure Quote
-nick- Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I thought I remember seeing this a while back. If it didn't have such a typical scam lure name like "Triggerfish", I'd probably be less leery of it. Quote
River Rat316 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Cripes I am going to start doing my product testing at baccarac or El Salto, maybe even Falcon, that looks like a blast! Quote
1234567 Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 I have two of these and using it the first time I can tell this lure will need alot of practice on the water to create the action like in the videos. The verdict for me on this bait is still in the air. I havn't thrown it but a couple of casts. It is fairly light and does not cast well if it is windy. I have two babybass, so if anyone wants a NIP pm me. I think this lure does have potential. Quote
