ramrod5907 Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 I'm trying to start a forum for people that fish north Mississippi lakes. Quote
VolFan Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Good luck with that. I used to fish Walldoxie state park back in the day. Some really goof fish in there for a small lake, but that was 20 years ago. Quote
ramrod5907 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 My brother fishes there all the time and he say there is good bass there. I fished chewalla last week and caught 10 crappie 4 bass and a bunch of brim Quote
BryanBrown Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I tried fishing Wall Doxey about 3 weeks ago while camping there. The water there is very VERY clear. I was only able to catch 1 bass, but saw several big ones by the shore... Y'all have any tips for fishing this extremely clear water? Quote
VolFan Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 My best was crawling big dark plastic worms through and around the cypress trees, moving from shallow to deep across the creek channel that runs through there. Get a boat if you can. Quote
ramrod5907 Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 Free floating trick worm is really good right now. Voight a lot of crappie and bass on swim baits. Quote
