Hello everyone! Just wanted to probe for some info on the current state of bass activity in the state. I'm heading down Friday and plan to fish Arbuckle as much as I can, and maybe spend some time at the Duncan area lakes.

From my research I've found some lakes are already tipping the 60-65 degree temp marks - I am hoping to get in on some prespawn fishing, don't really want to fuss with pulling them off beds.

So can anyone provide some info or reports on what the bass are doing? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Dan

fishing has been great for me in NE oklahoma minus Grand Lake. Tenkiller, greenleaf, Ft. gibson have all been great.

If you're going to be in the Arbuckle area you'll be in the southern central part of the state. Arbuckle has produced some nice fish so far this year. My personal best there is 6lb15oz. But there have been many over 10lb come out of Arbuckle this year. Stick tight to the rocks, ledges, and shelves and you should have some success. Hope you land a big one. Good luck to you.

Should be getting real good around here. The Temp is going to be in the high 70s and low 80s full spawn will be going on. Fish Grand Lake last week it was tough at times but did come across a few nests but no Bass on them water temp was around 55 to 59 degrees.  A couple guys pulled in some real nice lunkers for the tournament. So it should be real good by the time you get here. Good Luck.

Arbuckle has been on fire the last couple years.  Most of the big bags have been caught on the rig.

I have never fished the lake but you should do good.

Good Luck.

Well I got out on Arbuckle today - there was a tourney and a lot of other boats. I got skunked, I imagine all the spots I tried already got pounded this morning, then the wind blew us off the lake. Did meet a guy from Texas at the ramp who said someone he knew got an 11 and a 9 off of beds today.

I'll hit it again during the week when there's not so many others on the lake.

I banked fished from arbuckle today. Caught a few keepers biggest being 5.4. As the day went on I couldn't get off the dinks. Probably going to try again this week. Danarchy you weren't the one that had water coming in his boat were ya?

No I put in on the east side, then came into the bay at Guy Sandy - tried to go back across the lake but the waves were too high - I got a ride to my truck and took out at Guy Sandy. I was in a Tracker V-hull, trolled around in the bay there until about 4pm.
