Super User Munkin Posted April 20, 2014 Super User Posted April 20, 2014 My boat is 4 mph faster without just the baits I carry. Culling tackle is hard because of the "what if?" scenarios we all have in our mind. Honestly I could fish with just the baits that would fit into a one gallon freezer bag and would still be successful. Yesterday I pulled 9 plano boxes out of the boat because the rod locker lid barely shut do to all the stuff in there. Sometime in the next couple of months I am going to do an honest cull and get rid of 25-50% of what I have. So I have about 250 bags of plastics and 75 hard baits to get rid of but that should double at least. Allen Quote

It's to late for you guys there is no cure but your sacrifice can save so many of us. STOP THE MADNESS!!!! If I send some baits your way, you are sure to be infected with monkey-itis; just like the rest of us. Be careful what you ask for. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted April 22, 2014 Super User Posted April 22, 2014 Last fall I purchased two big boxes of mister twister New and discounted plastics. I purchased lots of Sieberts outdoors jigs. This year it's more jigs, more New line, more inline spinners. Plus hooks and bobbers for the grandson. He begging to go fishing. He got his batman combo for Easter. Quote

I am afraid of the bait monkey, My wife said I tin to over do it when I take a interest in something and I am becoming very interested in bass fishing. It does blow my mind how much bait and tackle is dedicated to catching one fish. So far I am still using all the tackle I got from a friend who gave it up do to heath reasons . Quote
