I'm buying a 6'6 medium power fast action premeir st croix spinning rod. I'm settled on a pflueger president but am not sure whether to get the 6925 or 6930. I usually 1/4-1/2 ounce lures. I fish for perch catfish stripers and bass. Also do you guys think I should get the 6'6 rod or the 7'0 rod

With stripers in the mix, you'd best go with the larger line capacity. A decent sized striper will spool a small reel rather quickly.

A longer rod will give you a longer cast, a shorter rod will be more accurate.

A shorter rod will give you more leverage, a longer rod will give the fish more leverage.

For the applications you're mentioned, I'd go with a 6935 on the 7 ft rod.

As .ghoti. already mentioned, depending on the line you chose, capacity could be a concern while striper fishing.

I don't catch a lot of stripers I just need the rod and reel to be able to handle a striper. Biggest striper I'll be catching about 25 inches

Sounds good.  The 6930 should be good for either rod.  The 6925 is pretty small.

Something that may be helpful is to visit your friendly local vendor and mount a few different reels on the rod you want.  Doesn't tell the whole story but at least you'll get a feel for how the reel & rod combo feels & balances in your hand before making your purchase.

Good Luck

Does anyone have the pflueger president 6930 and if so can measure how tall the reel is just curious how big it is

I would go with the 30. I have a 35 size Supreme XT on my Avid 6'6'' Medium, and i kind of wish i had gotten a 30 size, but on the 25 and 30, the handle knob wasn't as nice so i went with the 35 size. I think all the handles on the Presidents are the same though.
