ProCrafter Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Time for the celebrated Potholes Open on Potholes Reservoir near Moses Lake Wa. and I will be fishing from the back of the boat and loving it!!! Going to be interesting as we have had several fronts move through and the lake is windy today cancelling pre-fishing. Should have the full field of 110 boats and will post a report of the results and what patterns played out. Usually takes 25+ per day to win but might be 22+ this year....(My prediction!) Quote
motodmast Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 how did it end up? next tourney there is in a few weeks correct? Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted May 11, 2014 BassResource.com Administrator Posted May 11, 2014 It took something like 53lbs to win it (6 fish limit per team). I think you had to have 40+lbs to make it in the money. Strong winds (25-35mph) on Saturday made fishing tough as it forced people to fish shoulder-to-shoulder in a few protected bays. Then on Sunday the bite just tanked, but the weather was much better. Very slow baits reigned supreme. Quote
ProCrafter Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 We ended up 48th with 21+ pounds... never found big ones and lost our mojo looking for giants instead of fishing numbers... lots of bucks around so we should have just looked for the packs of them. 1 Quote
