I have been using Gamakatsu offset shank with the round bend for a little while now.  But I've been seeing a very similar hook with an O'shaunessy bend. They're so similar, the only difference seems to be a slight angle at the bottom.

What's the benefit of one over the other?

That slight bend is the difference.

Benefits??? you got me. :Idontknow:

I use more off set round bend hooks but the O'Shaunessy really works well used with curly tail worms and trick worms. It hooks and holds fish great when used with slimmer plastics. I'm really not sure why but it seems to hook fish easier to me than any other style on those plastics.
