I recently began having a problem with my reel. It seems as if the bail isn't high enough to be opened over the reel. Considering it is the first time this happens to me, I really need your tips.

No it doesn't allow me to retract the bail so I can't cast when I bring the bail back instead of going over the reel like its suppose to it crashes with the reel halfway

If you are under warranty send it back to the manufacture.  I had that same problem and Quantum just replaced the reel.

Without seeing it, I'm guessing as said about your bail has been squeezed on. So it wider now rather than higher to fit over the spool. Look at it from the front to see if the roundness of the bail is equally spaced to the roundness of the spool body?
