Went out on the Mattawoman Creek on April 10, 2014.  Had gusting winds to 25 mph and 75 deg, water temp was 60 deg.

Caught this Bass on my second cast.....

Yes, I've seen days were the Creek offered up nothing.  :(

But even at that, I still will have a good day on the water.

Looking like they are getting ready to spawn.

Have the dogwoods blossomed in your neck of the woods?

They popped out this past weekend in Richmond.

No, I have a Dogwood in my backyard and it's bare.

Update:  One day after posting this my Dogwood started popping out.  :)

I'm in NOVA.  They are blossoming everywhere around here.  I was on a potomac river creek two days after this report, and absolutely crushed between 1-3:30 during low tide. I'd tell you which creek, but I fish from a kayak, and don't want my spot blown up.  Haha.  Trying to fish there tomorrow.   All fish were caught in less that 2 ft of water.  Most fish were concentrated near the mouth.  I was fishing moving baits extremely fast near grass with occasional pauses.
