Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted March 1, 2011 Super User Posted March 1, 2011 Just placed an order for these new baits. For those of you looking to throw a legit swimbait and not break the bank, this is for you. Check it out. If this performs anything like the original, watch out...They are 4" long. The original 'gills are 5". You will easily be able to throw them on your regular bass gear. Quote

okiefisher8 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Looks great. I am going to do some swimbait fishing this year but don't know anything about this technique though. Do you usually fish swimbaits in open water? Quote

Do you usually fish swimbaits in open water? Fish 'em just like a jig. Swim them on structure breaks and around cover. Flip it in a bed. Lots of different things you can do with them. Quote
Primus Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 with speed and primus endorsing it everyone should order some...those guys are swim bait gurus!!! I appreciate the nice words but I still consider myself fairly new to this type of fishing, I expect to know a lot more before the season is over. Quote
