what is your opinion on this?  is it worth the $$?

do you have better luck with the regular size or the Jr?

and what color would you recommend?  :-/

for those of you who use it....better to straight reel it or give it a few jerks?  kind of like a popper?

i'm also considering a Spro Dawg  ... would you say one is best over the other?  i know, 2 different techniques....but if you had to choose one.

thanks..

I have more success with my Rapala skitterprop, even though my KellyJ is sexier.

I fish my Skitterprop like a popper. Jerk it under and let it sit for a few then do it over.

I like the regular size. Its a very productive prop bait... I have the yellow one and the Ghost Bluegill one.

For topwater you need to experiment with what the fish want. twitch, twitch pause is popular with this one. Letting a pretty bait sit in the water can trigger some massive strikes. Patience...

Not sure it will get much use this year though as I have (2) shiney new DEPS buzzjets waiting for launch.

I love the bait but I have a hellish bad time keeping fished pinned on it.  I'm sure it's pilot error, but don't have the same issue with other similar baits.

I like this bait. It has a very realistic profile, good colors, and the prop moves easily. The bait does not have a lot of lateral movement however. Other props, like the Splash Tail, can be walked easily. I like these props better sometimes.
