BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 13, 2014 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 13, 2014 Is a 1500 acre lake in Central Polk county that we have an Rv set up on. We hit the lake yesterday around noon and boated 15 before 5 pm. Dinner then out for a moon rise and star gazing. We went to breakfast this morning and back on the lake from 9 until 1230 boated another 10. Nothing huge with the biggest just under 4 lbs. They were in the outside edges of the maidencane in 4-6 ft of water. Blue/black baby paca craw pitched and a fluke fished on the outside edge. The bite was extremely light and we missed more than we caught. I broke off two big ones this morning. Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Nice fish and pics. I wish we had a lake around here that had grass and pads like that. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 Looks like a great topwater spot. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted April 15, 2014 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted April 15, 2014 Looks like a great topwater spot. That is typically a good toad spot. But not this weekend. It was pitching and waiting or a fluke. Not aggressive at all for the last few weeks. Quote
