Super User ww2farmer Posted April 21, 2015 Super User Posted April 21, 2015 Tale of two days....sunday, fantastic weather, poor fishing. I caught one 4lber, one 3lber, and one 12"er....Today...well...I had the best day, maybe ever on silver. Wind, sleet, hail, rain, and 50+ largemouth. Best five were a 5-6, 4-14,4-11,4-9,and a 4-6. Countless other 3.5+ to low 4lb range fish. This one will be hard to top. Might as well sell the boat now lol. 7 Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I got a dink today after a drum lesson. You play in a band and still take lessons? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 22, 2015 Super User Posted April 22, 2015 I've been playing for 35 years. Anyone at any level can benefit from a lesson. Music, like fishing, is a path, not a destination. 2 Quote

bradc36 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Got this hoss today before the wellsville trout derby testing out the rod I just built. That is an awesome looking rod, and great fish! Can't wait to get the boat out on the river and start hammering smallies. 1 Quote

rmcguirk Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Finally got out on the boat on Conesus and on the board. In about an hour and a half, picked up three bass and a pike. All fish were shallow, in about 5 feet of water. Good to get things started... 1 Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted April 27, 2015 Super User Posted April 27, 2015 I got out for a few hours yesterday afternoon, during the "warmest" part of the day. It wasn't on fire, but it didn't suck, despite my thinking it would with this nice winter weather we have returned to this week. In about 3 hours worth of fishing, a dozen or so largemouth and I visited each other, no hogs today...they ranged from 12" - 3.5lbs. I'll take it for a nice 45 degree day with a chilly north wind. PAGreg Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I think Coldsvt and I will be hitting lamoka/waneta sometime next week. Might even get to keuka another day too. I'm hoping to head up to the north branch of the susquehanna near Wyalusing soon. Great stretch of river there. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted May 1, 2015 Super User Posted May 1, 2015 Off the coast island? Yes, there's a ton of water just north and west of the city. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted May 1, 2015 Super User Posted May 1, 2015 I'd be looking to get hooked up with one of the Watershed ressies. You'll need a permit. I think the DEP issues them. 1 Quote
