I've caught 9. They range in size from 4 pounds down to 12 ounces.

I got 4 of em on a white 1/2 oz spinner, 2 on a rattle trap, 1 on a strike king sexy chad, and 2 on a fat john. One of these days I hope I can catch enough that I just can't remember how many!!!!!   :)

I think around 15 so far. Today was the nicest day we have had this year. It had been 70 all day and post frontal conditions and steady 20+ mph winds so I went for a little over a hour after work. I caught 7 today with 2 on a 5" savage gear real trout and 5 on a 5" decoy hydra tail. The biggest was 4.2# and that is my biggest this year. I have only gone out a few times for a couple hours at most each time. Every time water temps have been just above freezing with today being the exception.

I hope this will be a good year but until just this week it has still been fairly cold with near freezing temps every night.

Here in South Florida we are now in low water conditions in the glades.  The bass are concentrated in the only deep water around, the man made canals and gator holes.   100 fish for a full day are the norm now.  I fish 6 days a week in a number of locations.  I have caught between 1500 and 2000 bass since January.  Keep your line wet and you will catch a bunch of fish.  This is one of the reasons I picked this place to call home. :eyebrows:  :respect-059:  :eyebrows:

I should have directed this to fishers north of the Mason Dixon Line.  Then at least I would not feel so bad. :). Way to go ya'll southerners. Nice.

Keep a line wet and go where they are. So far this year I have fished 3 days in Florida and 6 days in Mexico. The other bass were caught around here, but those numbers are in the 30's I would guess. I will do that breakdown tomorrow as well.

I've caught about 75 bass so far this year, largest being a little under 6 lbs. Most were caught with a chart/orange spinner, but a lot have also gone for T-rigged plastics.

I get to fish probably 3 or 4 times per week after I'm done with classes for the day as long as I don't have any exams or anything coming up to worry about so the time that I'm out fishing adds up... even if it is rarely for more than 2 or 3 hours at a time.

considering I've only been able to "bass fish" about 21 days so far this year I'm up to 30, 6 of which came today with 2 being a 5.04 and a 4.25.  Not to shabby for city park ponds/lakes, biggest this year so far was the 1st fish, a nice 6lber on a swimbait.  And being I have a 25% rate of fish over 4lbs, I'm not gonna complain. I'll take quality over quantity any day.
