JeziHogg Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I'm going to try paddle tails this year, I've been eyeing basstrix paddle tails for abit. Anyone have good luck with them or any other paddle tails for that matter? I'm looking for something around 4" that I can rig with a 4/0 1/8oz swimbait hook. Quote

Super User kickerfish1 Posted April 10, 2014 Super User Posted April 10, 2014 Keitech 3.8 and 4.8 FAT swing impacts are great plus double as excellent swim jig trailers. Great action and scent on these baits. Spendy but worth it over the knock offs. 1 Quote
BradGuenette Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Gambler EZ Swimmer is a favorite of mine. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 I just started using the Missle Baits Shockwave last week. It is one amazing paddle tail. The action on the bait is just fantastic. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 money minnows and stankxbaitco swimz are my favorites Quote
Super User Teal Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 I've experimented with A lot of different brands while I was figuring out alotbof the nuances to hollow body swimmers ans softbody swimmers... And they are not all created equal, but really all of them mentioned above are pretty good. I really like the keitechs, and I really like the shadalicous Quote

Super User Teal Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 Bass trix are good, but for a lesser cost the Shadalicous are pretty close. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 The Keitech's are awesome. If you want a hollow body, the Shadalicious are good. I also really like the Roboworm EZ Shad. You might try the Robo Minnow if you want a 4" bait. Quote
Brian Needham Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 not a hollow body, but I love the Big Hammer! 1 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 not a hollow body, but I love the Big Hammer! I forgot about the Hammer. It's a great bait too. You have to throw it on a jig head though. Quote

Super User Munkin Posted April 12, 2014 Super User Posted April 12, 2014 Damiki shad is the best 4" bait I have used so far. RI dippers are nice but they are 3.5 and like 5". Allen Quote
