mrmacwvu1 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Who is watching and who are rooting for? I am rooting for the mechanic. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted April 10, 2014 Super User Posted April 10, 2014 Its played right down the road from the house about 30 minutes. Flukmaster is even closer that that. All I know is I avoid Augusta this week, my son is on spring break schools are closed. My wife's Co-worker rents his place out this week. He gets enough to pay his mortgage for roughly 6 months his house payment is close to 2 grand so ppl really pay to go see the Masters. Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 Masters shmasters. I'm watching Chelsea highlights waiting for Sundays match against Swansea. Go Blues. In the spirit of the thread. Lefty or the Bama boy will win it. You heard it here first. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 My level of excitement is not what it normally is with TW not in the field. A sentimental pick would be Mickleson, I'd really like to see this young kid Speith, no question he has the game and the nerves. I think Adam Scott is poised to be a repeat champion, it just could be him. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 My girlfriend is getting a masters in museum studies. I root for her. 1 Quote
5dollarsplash Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I've got Jimmy Walker in my pool at work. His name sounds like something I'd have behind the bar to bring out on special occasions. As a irishman thats enough to make me root for him. Quote
Super User rippin-lips Posted April 11, 2014 Super User Posted April 11, 2014 No favorite since Tiger isn't playing in it. I would like to see him win a few more majors and catch the record. I used to live in Augusta ,Ga years ago. Washington road is a mad house right now. People on the side of the road with signs trying to buy tickets. Sucks I wasn't in to golf at that time. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted April 12, 2014 Super User Posted April 12, 2014 Looking at the leader board Adam Scott and Jordan Spieth are 3 back, I'm still going with my Adam Scott pick. Furyk could be the dark horse surprise. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted April 12, 2014 Super User Posted April 12, 2014 Yeah......BUBBA is in the lead. Hope he can stay focused and calm. He seems like a good guy with decent family ties. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted April 13, 2014 Super User Posted April 13, 2014 Bubba did it in style...awesome. First time...but then I don't watch much but wife said a first. Was when he did the hand clap thing with so many fans. Was cool. Class act. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted April 13, 2014 Super User Posted April 13, 2014 Bubba did it in style...awesome. First time...but then I don't watch much but wife said a first. Was when he did the hand clap thing with so many fans. Was cool. Class act. Not his first time. He won in 2012 Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted April 13, 2014 Super User Posted April 13, 2014 Second sentence I mentioned I have not seen a winner have that much contact with fans...thought was very cool. Anyway....yup ... he's done it twice Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 Sorry, I couldn't really follow your post. Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 Called that one. At least one of my two picks won it. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 Masters shmasters. I'm watching Chelsea highlights waiting for Sundays match against Swansea. Go Blues. In the spirit of the thread. Lefty or the Bama boy will win it. You heard it here first. One of my boys bleeds Chelsea, so long as Hazard remains, LOL.... Another son follows Van Persie, thus Man U. Me? I love it all. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 If I could pay 6 months of my house off per year due to the Masters, I would. No brainer!! Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted April 14, 2014 Super User Posted April 14, 2014 Sorry dude....sometimes fingers work faster than brain. Tight Lines Quote
