Georgia Jeff Posted February 25, 2011 Author Posted February 25, 2011 I hope this is considered Fluke-ish???? The center one will Fall Horizontally, know matter what you do to it,It Writes itself no matter how hard you twitch it or slow roll it,and I mean slow and it runs True. I showed you what it is,But I can't tell you what I did.Hope you understand. What is that top bait? It looks like the real thing. Quote
Super User Catt Posted February 26, 2011 Super User Posted February 26, 2011 Simply offset the hooks weight with a weight in the tail; I throw Zoom Trick worms Texas rigged with a 2/0 hook & a 1 nail in the tail to achieve horizontal fall. Quote
ABLE2DISABLE1 Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 Black Dog Bait's; And I'll tell you that it's not just a Treble Hook with-in the Bait. It's much More!!!! Now for the rig of a Fluke weightless,Nail inside the body or just a BIGGER Hook.32ounce screw weight in the nose. What about the Nail in front of the nose, and tail hooked, now it's like a Flying lure..double riggs single riggs or daisy chain them.Experiment with it. Georgia Jeff Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 I did some experimenting this morning on the water and got my zoom super flukes to fall horizontally by moving the hook a good ways back in the bait. Worked like a charm untill I caught a fish or two and then the head of the bait got ripped up from the braid. I may try a larger hook next time out. Thanks for all the input. Tight lines! Quote
