The owner of the local bait shop here told me Charlie's worms is out of business. Don't know that this is new news, but it's the first time I heard it. I don't use Charlie's to much anymore, but I have always seemed to have a bag or two around. Anybody else heard anything?

No Charlie's Worms is/was a small company from Okeechobee Fl. that made some really nice worms sold regionally.

It is true, they are no more. I really liked there Craws as well as worms, ordered them direct by the 100 count bags. Some of the nicest people to talk with to, always helpful. Have been milking the ones I still have for tournament use only.

Really surprised that someone did not offer to buy them out for they made some great products.

That is sad news. The owner was on Roland Martin once and was a good old cracker! Ive always looked for their products first Zoom second.

That stinks.  I've used Charlie's Worms for a long time.  I think I still a single package of their paddletail shads here.  Great baits.

They did go out of business, but now the company has been purchased and is setting up shop in Hobe Sound. In the meantime, the original products can be purchased through various online stores that have bought up the remaining stock.

This is great news. Hopefully this time around they will have a website and more stores will carry there product. Also hoping they will still offer 100 count bags so that I can buy them the way I use to. Thanks for the info!

fyi, Charlie's Worms is still available via various online shops (and I think Walmart).  Just Google the name and you'll find them.
