1C Phenix M1 7'2" MH

The 7'2 tatula is a MH regular action. Daiwa's regular action is a moderate-fast, so I don't think that will be very versatile. None of the rod models in the tatula line up versatile because all of the models are regular or xf action. I have always found fast action to be most versatile. I think you should consider adding the *** 7'3 MH fast.

KLX and Perfecta

A few years ago (2 or 3) the Dobyns (all models) were getting reviews as the best thing since sliced bread.  Recent posts have admitted the Savvy isn't that good for bottom contact lures.  No personal experience.  Just passing along what I have read on here and other forums.

Yes , the *** 7'3" MH should definitely be considered in the mix (especially for the price point ) ...Just curious if that funky reel seat causes anybody problems ?

The Duckett 7'1" Medium Heavy White Ice is the best do all rod I've ever used. It is perfect as a all purpose rod.
