These are pics i took of my rattlin' vibe after 2 days of fishing. This is what they looked like after 9 bass. i put it next to one that was unused.  But seriously? These cranks are $8 a piece and the eyes fell off after 2 fish. No exaggeration, after catching 2 fish....both eyes....gone. And after 9, the finish is ruined. This is more like the quality of a no name lure that people buy cause they go fishing for one day out of their lives. Yozuri should go out of their way to show their customers that they're not the kind of company that just slaps a name on a piece of junk and trusts it to sell. i fish in mud holes in mississippi so its not like i'm bangin em off rocks like you yanks. Thoughts?

Nine bass in two days? I looks fine to me. My go-to

lipless crank is a blue/chrome, XCalibur Xr50. It doesn't

have any eyes and it's not nearly as pretty as your

Yo-Zuri Vibe (?). Mine is a fish magnet and I would

not change a thing. Seems like the bass like yours,

too!

and you could be right RW, i could go on to catch another 100 bass on that same plug.then again i rely on lieutenant shiny sides in my dirty waters, i really think that chrome flash is key when the water is that muddy

I swear I would not complain over the durability of the finish on a bait that 's working, why ? becuase that bait has something special to it that attaracts fish no matter if it has or hasn 't got the finish. There are bait like that, true gems that no matter how beat up they are they simply catch fish. I 've got several, one of them is a LC Moonassault, it used to be Aurora Craw, the finish lasted 8 or 9 fish, I 've got identical others and I swear they don 't catch fish in quantity or quality that one does. Nowdays the finish on it can be a "pretty beat up as it came out of the mold before we painted it" and man it still catches fish regardless of the water clarity.

I know, kidding with you, but when you live in red sox country, being called a yank is sickening.

If it bothers you that much, contact Yozuri. Griping about it on here accomplishes nothing.

i'm not griping dude relax. move on to the next thread unless you got something positive for me.i was just wondering if it was normal, and what your experiences were , if any, with yozuri's customer service.

I did have something positive for you: advice.  ;)

I'm not trying to be a jerk, really. If you have a problem with a product, the best way to handle it is to contact the manufacturer. They're the only ones who can solve the problem.

We can all tell you stories about the quality of paint on different lures, but in the end, what does that accomplish?

Franco that may be my next lipless. that many bass and still lookin decent!

Before I lost it I caught about 50 bass on the exact same lure as you without it looking that beat up.  Can I ask what the primary forage of the bass is in your lakes?  It looks like they don't spend a lot of time with crayfish in their mouths if they can scratch up a bait that bad on 9 fish.  I see you also replace your trebles =).

I have three of the same bait, same color, and three more in blue/silver.  They all look like yours, but it took a couple weeks to get there.  They are pretty much clear.  The Baby bass was less durable of the two colors.

And BBC, my baits are like that from fishing it in rip rap and rock piles.

Every Spro I have is like that. I would not get rid of them for nothing.

My spro aruku shads are all beat up.  I think it actually enhances the look...the shiny top coat is missing and it looks alot (to me anyway...) like a baitfish that has been beat up and is missing some scales.  Seems like the more beat up those aruku shads are, the more fish they catch.

I reel those things in so fast, I'm not even sure the fish sees anything but a streak through the water, LOL.

in this particular lake there are tons of crawfish and bait fish actually. the shad swim around in huge clouds. my top producing luhrs are crawfish worms and lipless cranks

I understand man and I apologize for being so defensive, but this is the fishing tackle forums, that's what we do here we discuss fishing tackle therefore I think it's ligit getting feedback from 1 another about certain things. now I know I was just being a baby about it because you guys are right, this is a reactionary lure so in the end, the finish is next to unimportant
