BuffaloBass716 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Finally made my first order on Tackle Warehouse today, and I am excited to see how everything turns out! Heard nothing but the best reviews for TW on here so made sure I would get some gear from there this year. My order wasn't huge but its enough to get a bank beater on a budget ready for this season. Its a good thing the water around here is still very cold, but I cant wait to spool up a get out there! Thanks Tackle Warehouse and everyone who helped with my tackle selection in the forums! Quote
BuffaloBass716 Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Mostly terminal since this is only my second year bass fishing and I am basically starting from scratch... But I bought a new travel 2-piece spinning rod -spool of braided line -spool of fluoro line -Some megastrike shakE2 jig heads -Megastrike tubes -more shakey heads -Assortment of bullet weights -Soft plastic storage bag -Some soft plastics -JJ's magic, in clear and in chartreuse (needed to try it!) I believe that's basically it for now unless my order shows up and it has something else lol. I plan on buying most of my soft/hard baits with a gander mountain gift card I got over winter, and maybe shop around wally world for any sales they have just to finish it off. I dont know how much $$ you guys spend each season, but for me just starting out on a budget and fishing from shore, this is a good start. Quote
Stingray23 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Its always good to set a budget, but most of the time, the order exceeds it. Quote
CJV Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Screw a budget! lol I start with the intent of spending a $100 and before I know it $300 whoops 1 Quote
jhoffman Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I spent $400 there in the last month LOL Holy smokes, I just looked at all my orders since the begin of the year. I soon should qualify for a free rod or something! 2/12/14 - $160 3/7/14 - $85 3/15/14 - $195 4/5/14 - $208 who needs a budget? that doesnt even include the $200 in swimbaits from guys on here Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted April 9, 2014 Super User Posted April 9, 2014 I always start thinking I'm going to stick to a budget and for my orders I tend to stay pretty close, but I'll pick up something here and something there. All those really tend to add up quick. Quote
mrmacwvu1 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 My ex made me quit drinking and buying from there. It is amazing how the bait monkey knows when you get into the bourbon and have money in the bank account. Quote
