pabassr Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 A few years back I had a few of these baits and they worked great. I think the company that made them went out of business. Does anyone have any info on how to make them or if a company still makes them. I would like to make them for myself with the input I get from here. They worked great on smallies. I lost the last one I had a few years back in a muskies mouth. Thanks Quote
basscatcher8 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Ah after doing a google search. do they look like a giant inline spinner with a buzz blade and a tube attached? Quote
doyle8218 Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 Buzz just about anything - they work great. 1 Quote

5dollarsplash Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I'm picturing a bucktail that has a tube instead of feathers. Am I thinking right pabassr? Search for Rizzo "wiz" bait. I think that might be it. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted April 19, 2014 Super User Posted April 19, 2014 Well now im intrigued! Quote

I think that might be it. The Rizzo Wiz is a fairly famous in-line Spinner routinely used for musky ~ especially in Wisconsin. Fairly basic bait - looks like a bucktail spinner which uses a slightly over-sized tube bait instead of bucktail material. pabassr Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 The tube spinnerbait or buzzbait looked like a regular spinnerbait or buzzbait but had a tube lead head on it. I think it was made in Harrisburg,Pa. I had purchased them at the eastern sport show years ago in Harrisburg,Pa. Quote
jhoffman Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Theres no doubt in my mind that with the right spinnerbait or buzz you could rip the skirt right off and put the head inside a tube 1 Quote

If you want a spinnerbait with a tube body I suggest a single blade bait that you remove the blade and thread the wire thru the tube then slide it down over the spinnerbait head. Allen Quote
